Cool, cloudy morning. The sun only came out a bit after 30+ kilometers. The crowd was significant in the beginning, so it slowed us down, but after 10 kilometers we had a chance to start running with our own pace. Unfortunately, that was also the time when some of the runners started walking. Tei's only problems were right foot toes getting a bit numb early on, and then chafing/blister in the same foot's ball, and eventually towards the very end, hurting hips. Tomi had some cramps and he basically walked the second half of the marathon. |
