Comments Huffing and puffing up and down the steep stairs of the wall, and then strolling more or less flat country roads (there were a couple of significant hills too!) through a number of rural villages in Northern China. Besides paved road and concrete surface, we also hit dirt road and cross-country trail a couple of times. The running route was lined up by small kids cheering on us and giving high-fives. Priceless!

Comments One of the few last chances to have a long run or a walk before the marathon; we opt for a walk, since it is a very hot day and Tei's been down with an aggressive food poisoning for four days.

We stop at Vivo's Serenity for a quick lunch before heading back West. Then we decide it is a perfect time to check out outdoor furniture at Teak & Mahogany, a store next to our favorite Lorgan's retro store. We end up buying a wicker lounge chair set with an ottoman and a side table, and matching pillows. They will be delivered in three weeks.
