Comments The morning opens in a thick gray cloud cover. We opt for going to an early run to avoid the approaching heavy rain. It only sprinkles when we head out but intensifies soon. It is nice and cool, though.

Exercise ABT
Comments This was a killer workout. We did circuit training that consisted of six exercises (2 x squats with a bench, squats on the floor, jumping up and down from the bench and going down in between, crunches, and moving planks) that were repeated for 2 minutes each. We did three sets of these six exercises, with 1-minute breaks in betweeen. Whoa!

Exercise Run
Course Pandan Reservoir
Distance 21.8K
Time 2:21.25
Pace Avg 6;29, max 5:36
HR Avg 132, max 157
Comments Yesterday on our way to Science Centre we saw that there is a new amenities building at the Pandan Reservoir. Today we decided to go running to the reservoir after a longtime. The flat, unpaved trail around the lake is one of the best running trails in Western Singapore.

The amenities center has restrooms and showers, and drinking water fountains. PUB (Singapore's national water agency) has also built several fishing/viewing decks and sheltered benches around the lake, plus planted some water plants. Their plan is to make Pandan Reservoir a water-sports center of Western Singapore.
