Exercise Run
Course West Coast Park
Distance 8.61K
Time 53:55.0
Pace Avg 6:15, max 5:36
HR NA
Comments Now it takes us almost 15 minutes to get to the park, whereas from the old place it took less than five. This introduces a welcome increase in our running time and distance.

Exercise Pilates
Comments Harder class for a change, and a lot of welcome stretching after the weekend of moving --- a lot of squatting and lifting heavy objects.

@ Fri 27/08/2010
Exercise Run
Course Kent Ridge Park
Distance 6.72K
Time 45:09.4
Pace Avg 6:43, max 5:41
Comments Breeezeless morning but a relatively relaxed run after yesterday's attack. It's all about moving these days, therefore the blog entries are short.

@ Thu 26/08/2010
Exercise BodyAttack
Comments A harder class for a change.

@ Tue 24/08/2010
Exercise Run
Course West Coast Park
Distance 7.06K
Time 40:25.0
Comments Something wrong with the heart rate monitor/foot pod: all measurements but the time are off limits.

Exercise Pilates
Comments The first pilates class for a long time and we definitely felt what we have been missing for a few weeks.

@ Sat 21/08/2010

Distance 8.29K
Time 55:40.7
Pace Avg 6:42, max 5:28
HR Avg 135, max 154
Comments Cooler morning to run. It sprinkles a bit when we head out.

Exercise BodyAttack
Comments Quite a different program from the one before our trip, and much harder.

@ Wed 18/08/2010
Exercise Run
Course West Coast Park
Distance 6.80K
Time 40:03.0
Pace Avg 5:53, max 5:15
HR Avg 139, max 152
Comments We are back in Singapore and try to get our circadian rhythm right. Early morning run is a good way of telling the body that it is time to wake up. It is cooler now, but not as comfortable as in Portland. We signed the lease for the new place yesterday, and on Friday we'll get the keys. The move will make some changes to our running routines, since we move farther from the WCP and closer to the Kent Ridge Park.

Exercise Run
Course Willamette river bank, Portland
Distance 16.76K
Time 1:41:38
Pace Avg 6:03, max 5:19
HR Avg 135 (max 139)
Comments Heat wave is in Portland. The temperature can reach 100F this afternoon. Fortunately, it is not humid at all. We go for a run before 7am. The sky is clear blue. It is still a bit cool, though. There is a nice breeze by the river, and the trail runs mostly in shade.

Exercise Run
Course Willamette River bank, Portland
Distance 6.25K
Time 36:39.9
Pace Avg 5:51, max 5:14
HR Avg 144
Comments Another cool but speedier morning run by the river. The heart rate monitor is equally puzzled about the sudden climate change as we are, and displays odd rates.

Course Burnside neighborhood, Portland, Oregon
Distance 8.60K
Time 51:54.8
Pace Avg 6:02, max 4:35

Comments Another cool morning run Portland. The sun is up only just before we head out but the sky is fully cloudy.

Exercise BodyAttack
Comments Tei is still not quite well, but hey, it takes only one attack class to make her feel much better. Next workout report likely comes from Portland, Oregon, where we fly on Saturday.

@ Mon 02/08/2010
Exercise Run
Course West Coast Park

Comments Cool morning to run. Tomi ran alone, since Tei is still not feeling well.
