We have not been on wheels since our trip to Bali. Our bikes are becoming rusty, especially chains and pedals. Today it already sprinkles when we ride as far as the nearest shopping mall for breakfast, but the rain never gets too bad. We head to the North-western part of the country again. We are surprised to find the Chinese cemetery area clogged with traffic and the cemeteries full of people under their umbrellas burning some smokes. As we continue North the traffic gets lighter. We ride as far as the road (Lim Chu Kang Rd) goes. The Northern coast line is not very nice view of Singapore. On our way back we take smaller roads and cruise pass the agri farms. It is a nice and quiet ride, with little traffic. However, it gets quite annoying soon, since the dogs are after us, just like in Indiana. When coming back to town, the roads are busy again, surprisingly so given that it is Sunday. |
