Comments Ave 143, max 163. We ran on treadmill increasing the speed every five minutes from 8, 10, 11 to 12km/h, and then down again. We ended by doing some strength training in the gym equipments.

Comments Ave 133, max 150. It was relatively late when we started running, almost ten o'clock. There were a lot of people in the park, most of them tourists but several runners as well. It is good to see that people are running in this climate whatever time of the day it is.

Comments This was our first outdoor run here in Singapore. It was bearable in the morning since the sun was still relatively low. We spent the rest of the day scouting apartments. We also picked up our green cards. Next we will open bank accounts.

Last weekend we visited my mother in Tampere. We also had a couple of beers at one of the best breweries in Finland, namely Plevna.

I took the picture on the right today, on my way to last day at work at the CS department of University of Helsinki --- Tomorrow we fly to Singapore. This is the same place I took a picture of earlier this Summer, remember? Someone had cut the grass and flowers before I had a chance to take another photo of the wild medow when fully grown. How sad. The Fall is definitely near.

Exercise Core 30
Comments I skipped the interval session because of the migraine headache I had had for the whole day. The core session was not extremely demanding but it made me sweat a bit, especially the 2 minute 20 second plank exercise.

Comments The first session was pretty straightforward with running, jumping jacks and some kickboxing, but the latter session included a 2 minute 20 seconds plank without any breaks. That was a killer after yesterday's BodyPump and shoulder workout.

Comments Ave 139, max 167, +17C, partly cloudy. We took a break from watching Olympic games and did some speed work for a change. We ran the 800m's in 4:09 and 4:03, and 400m's in 1:49, 1:57, and 1:45. It felt very good to stretch the limits.
