Comments Ave 146, -8C, sunny. We have bicycle/running/walking trail starting from the backyard and leading all the way to the city center. Today, we took advantage of this opportunity and the gorgeous weather, and ran downtown. The trail was even icier than the one we regularly run. We had some good luck with us that neither fell.

Comments Ave 146, -11C, cloudy, snowing. It's still really slippery everywhere and the icy surface is hard to run. Otherwise, we had a pleasant run.

Comments We made some new movements today. I was really stiff on the lower back and sides. We did not have our usual interval run before the stretching session. That may explain the stiffness. In general, the stretching session is quite challenging: it requires some coordination and good balance.

Comments Ave 132, +2C, cloudy. Parliament election campaigns are trying to reach outdoor people in the nearby park: two biggest parties were grilling sausages and cooking hot juice for skiiers, runners and nordic walkers. Running was not super easy, but nice.

Comments Ave 142. We ran four four minute-intervals at 12kph, with 3-minute recovery periods in between. Amazingly easy --- we need to crank up the intensity level.

Comments Almost ran out of energy, that little that I had beforehand. We had a new program which seems lighter than the previous one, and we don't use the dumbells at all, just barbells.

Comments Ave 145 (134), -6C, cloudy. We ran to Pitkäkoski maja again. There was a long line, so we skipped the muffin, and kept on running. We followed the well-known strategy of hopsism when heading back home, and ended up touring some nice and not so nice neighborhoods of the area. Running in snow is a true challenge for the lower calves.

Comments +0C, cloudy, no significant breeze. It is even more icy today. We briefly stopped at the Pitkäkoski maja --- a small hut selling coffee, hot juice and baked goods mostly to skiiers. When we restarted running it felt really cold for a while: we made a firm decision to jump into a bubble bath with some warm, spiced wine after the run.

Comments +0.5C, partly cloudy, windy. We received some rain yesterday, and the slush had frozen during the night. It makes a really nasty conditions for running. We plan for a longer run for tomorrow.
