Comments Ave 136, +7.5C, cloudy. The weather forecasts have been telling us the whole week that after a miserable week the Sunday will be partly cloudy and warm (high +9C). We had planned to have a longer run in the nice weather, but as Sunday turned out as dull as the previous days we opted for a shorter run.

It was not a bad day for running, only that it was a little muddy. A little glimpse of sunshine would not have been bad either. Maybe in April?!

Comments Ave 141, max 161. We ran hill intervals at level 5 and speed ranging from 9 to 10.5 kilometers per hour. We wonder why we have the funny dizzy feeling after running on the treadmill. We never felt that way in Bloomington.

Comments This stretching session is as true workout as any other session. I really like the music, now that I can actually pay attention to it. What I don't like is the instructor's "yeah yeah".

Comments Unexpectedly, I was not sore after the last strength session --- still I retained the same set of weights today.

I've never though that one can choreograph weight lifting to music, but working out shoulder to Tom Jones'

Comments Workout using a gigantic soft ball. We started with aerobic warmup and continued with the core section: a lot of balancing, some isometric and basic crunches.

Comments We had a new exercise program --- not that much different from the previous one but quite a bit harder. I used the same weights as before, if not a little bit lighter, but still I had a hard time doing all the repetitions. I expect to be sore tomorrow.

Comments Ave 149, max 169. We ran rolling hills for 20 minutes at the level 10 and pace 9kph, and found ourselves totally exhausted. We switched to the level 4 and continued for another 20 minutes increasing the pace up to 10.5kph. The level indicates the steepest incline in the route.

Comments Ave 147, max 163. This time we did four sets of speed drills(speed/time): 10kph/0:30, 11.5kph/1:00, 12.5/2:30 with two-minute recovery periods in between. We finished with a brisk one-minute at 13kph.

Exercise Stretch

Comments This session was not only about stretching, but a full-body workout in some sense. We did some weird balancing stuff for warmup. Also some movements made to stretch some body parts were kind of taxing to other parts.

Comments Today's session was pretty tough. We did a lot of repetitions, faster and slower, moving from one muscle group to another in high tempo. After the strength session we attended a shorter session to work out tense shoulders and back --- a common ailment of people sitting by the desk and computer for entire day. I could barely hold my arms up after the strength training.
