| +19-22C, sunny, relatively strong NE wind. I know I am gambling with my dissertation, but I can't help going out for a bike ride this beautiful Sunday morning. Besides I am planning to buy some new J.B. Good's stuff. At 11 am. the sky is clear, and the NE breeze cools down the air so that it is not humid nor hot. Later in the day the sky gets filled with "Simpsons clouds". We experiment the newly found bike route out of town. It is secluded and dazing from the scent of surrounding blossoming trees. When it ends we follow IN 46 to Nashville, a town full of bikers and wobbling Hoosiers. Nashville is not a terribly interesting town. It does not get much credit for reciding in Brown county, claimed to be the most scenic in Indiana. I cannot agree more about the scenery. Brown is also a very, very hilly county. Nashville can be a culture study site though; there must be something that makes the tremendously overweight Hoosiers, dressed in white sneakers, blue jeans and red t-shirts (besides people coming all the way from the East coast) to battle the heat and spend numerous hours waddling from boutique to boutique and spend money on things you can never imagine being of any use.
